What Otterly does

Otterly.AI is a lower-priced AI visibility and GEO tracking tool aimed at solo marketers and small teams. By default it tracks a set number of prompts against ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with Gemini, Claude and Google AI Mode sold as paid add-ons, and reports a brand visibility index, domain ranking and link-citation analysis. Pricing scales with tracked-prompt volume across four tiers: Lite, Standard, Premium and a custom Enterprise plan. Source: otterly.ai/pricing (retrieved September 19, 2026).

What we do differently

Otterly tells you whether AI engines are currently mentioning you. It does not tell you why they aren't, or what specifically to change on the page to fix that. Agent Ready Search does the opposite: enter one URL, and in about 30 seconds you get a 0–100 score across six checks — AI visibility, question readiness, machine readability, trust and authority, conversion clarity and agentic readiness — with every failing check explained and a fix attached. We are also the only one of the three tools compared across this section that scores agentic readiness: whether an AI agent can actually find your phone number, hours or booking link and act on them, not just quote your homepage back to a user.

When to use both

Otterly's entry price is close enough to ours that the two get confused. The difference is what each one is for. Otterly answers "are we being mentioned." Agent Ready Search answers "can we be found in the first place, and what specifically is broken." For a small business, the sane order is our free scan and $49 report first — fix the structural gaps a mention tracker can't see — then Otterly's Lite plan once the site is passing and there's a real content operation defending visibility over time. Running Otterly against a site that fails our checks just tracks the absence of mentions you haven't yet made possible.
